2 Blue Birds is a storybook designed to teach preschoolers about colors through poetry and watercolor illustrations of birds. The author, Sharon Rose, wanted the illustrations to accurately depict real birds found in nature. To achieve this, I researched bird photography and used vibrant, nature-inspired images as references to create each watercolor illustration. Once the artwork was approved, I designed the page layout for the book and collaborated with the printer to support Sharon, a self-published author and preschool teacher, through the production process.
