Poppy is a fairy. She has adventures with her fairy friends. The stories of Poppy and her friends were written by a self published author who wanted to create a series of children’s books that would be geared towards younger readers. The art style needed to have a more juvenile aesthetic and look as if a child created the art. This was a super fun project that unfortunately ended before it had a chance to really see its full potential. But I had fun creating Poppy and her supporting characters. 

GOALS

• Create illustrations with a juvenile aesthetic
• Develop the character of Poppy and her supporting characters
• Create the page layout of the book once the illustrations are finalized
